Job Description
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field
- Additional course(s) in machine learning or data sciences subject
- 6 months - 2 years of work experience in developing applications involving machine learning or other advanced analytics techniques in areas such as document processing, parsing and semantic analysis, recommender systems, optimization, chat bots, etc
- Very strong in Python, MySQL, Pandas, relevant machine learning and NLP libraries on Ubuntu
- Knowledge of developing web-based frontends using PHP, Javascript, HTML, Jquery and CSS
- Able to read and understand relevant theory publications and analytical concepts
- Able to evaluate solution options and work independently in a fast pace environment
- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written.
- Knowledge of web scraping of static and dynamic web pages using Scrapy, Selenium and PhantomJs
- Good understanding of applied statistical analysis and probability
- Development on AWS environments
- Preparation of technical specification documents
- Understand the end-to-end business flow and functional requirements for in-house business applications and new features
- Develop additional functionality for the Company’s applications as assigned especially with a view to improving performance, productivity and user experience through the application of advanced automation techniques
- Monitor, improve, and update the performance of applications including database fine-tuning
- Adhere to Sciente’s internal quality management system procedures & manage document information lifecycle for application documents
- Provide support to sections of live applications as assigned
- Contribute to solution concepts and make recommendations for tools, software libraries and processes to improve productivity, user experience.
