Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation and Management

Design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure for cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments to ensure consistency across environments.

Maintain and enhance containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment of applications and infrastructure.

Work with development teams to define and optimize software build, test, and deployment processes.

Implement automated rollback strategies and ensure deployment processes are efficient, reliable, and secure.

Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality assurance and faster release cycles.
System Monitoring and Maintenance

Implement and maintain robust monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance.

Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and diagnose issues to ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

Work proactively to identify and address potential performance bottlenecks or system vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with developers and IT operations to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Collaboration with Development and Operations Teams

Work closely with development teams to design and support scalable, efficient, and highly available applications.

Collaborate with operations teams to manage the system’s infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with best practices.

Provide guidance on how to build and optimize application stacks and support deployment processes.
Security and Compliance

Implement best practices for securing systems, networks, and applications.

Ensure that infrastructure and applications meet security standards and compliance requirements.

Set up security tools, automated security scans, and manage vulnerability assessments.

Collaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and compliance with industry regulations.
Documentation and Best Practices

Document infrastructure configurations, automation processes, and deployment procedures to maintain consistency across teams.

Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and best practices in DevOps and software engineering.

Create and maintain internal wikis or knowledge bases to share troubleshooting guides, scripts, and solutions to common issues.
