Job Description
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field.
- Prior experience at all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to extinction.
- Experience using an array of automation tools.
- Familiarity with software security methods.
- Demonstrated experience using a wide variety of coding languages.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Development
-
Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

Automate testing, deployment, and rollback procedures to improve deployment cycles and reduce manual intervention.

Integrate security and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
Infrastructure Management

Build and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Automate server provisioning and configuration on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of systems and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
Cloud and Containerization

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using services from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Work with containerization platforms such as Docker, and manage orchestration using Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Swarm.

Manage and optimize deployments in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Monitoring and Incident Management

Set up logging and monitoring systems to detect and troubleshoot production issues quickly.

Create alerting systems and incident response processes to minimize system downtime.

Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Collaboration and Support

Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT teams to ensure smooth code releases.

Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices and ensure infrastructure compliance.

Provide technical guidance and best practices in DevOps, automation, and cloud architecture.
Documentation and Reporting

Maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps tools, procedures, and systems.

Generate regular reports on system performance, deployments, and incidents.

Ensure knowledge sharing across teams and conduct internal training sessions when required.
