We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Wiring Control Panel Engineer and Service Technician to join our team at SESS, a leader in innovative climatic test chambers and thermal engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, wiring, and maintaining electrical control panels and providing service support to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities: Electrical Wiring and Control Panel Engineering:- Design and Develop: Design and develop electrical control panels for climatic test chambers and other industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Wiring and Installation: Wire control panels, including installing electrical components, switches, relays, PLCs, and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
- Testing and Calibration: Conduct thorough testing and calibration of control panels to ensure proper functionality and integration with other systems.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for control panels and electrical systems.
- Field Service: Provide on-site service and support for electrical control panels and systems, diagnosing and repairing faults as needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on control panels and electrical systems to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including those related to control panels, wiring, and related equipment.
- Customer Support: Offer technical support to customers, addressing any electrical or control system-related inquiries and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into test chambers and equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company standards while performing installation, maintenance, and service tasks.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Wiring Control Panel Engineer and Service Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical wiring, control panel design, and PLC programming.
- Experience with HMIs, sensors, and other control system components.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physically fit and able to work in various environmental conditions.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Electrical Wiring, Control Panel Design, and PLC Programming is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for field service tasks.
