Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical Installations:

Installation of Electrical Systems: Install electrical systems in IT, residential, and commercial buildings, ensuring that they meet all technical specifications and safety standards.

Cable Tray & Raceway Installation: Erect and install cable trays, raceways, and conduits for the proper routing of electrical cables, ensuring correct installation and alignment.

Power Cable Laying & Termination: Lay and terminate power cables (low and high voltage) according to the specifications outlined in technical drawings and client requirements.

Electrical Panel Setup: Install electrical panels, breakers, and other equipment as per the project's needs and according to electrical safety standards.

Wiring and Connections: Perform wiring tasks, including connection of switches, outlets, and lights in both renovation and new construction projects.
2. Project Execution:

Drawing Interpretation: Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layout markings to guide electrical installation work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Site Preparation: Conduct site surveys and assess existing electrical infrastructure for both new construction and renovation projects.

Material Management: Ensure the timely and safe handling of electrical materials and equipment required for installations.

Testing and Troubleshooting: Test electrical circuits to ensure functionality and troubleshoot issues such as faulty wiring, short circuits, and equipment malfunctions.
3. Renovation and Maintenance:

Renovation Projects: Carry out electrical work for building renovations, including upgrading existing systems, rewiring, and ensuring compliance with current electrical codes.

System Maintenance: Provide routine maintenance on electrical systems in residential, commercial, and IT facilities, ensuring systems remain operational and compliant with safety standards.

Upgrades and Modifications: Modify electrical systems to accommodate changes in building usage, renovation specifications, or technological upgrades.
4. Compliance and Safety:

Code Compliance: Ensure that all electrical installations meet the local electrical code and adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and ensure that the electrical work site is safe for team members, contractors, and clients.

PPE Usage: Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that proper safety measures are followed during the execution of all electrical tasks.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation processes, materials used, and any modifications made to the electrical systems.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, foremen, and other electricians, to complete projects on time and within budget.

Progress Updates: Provide regular updates to the project manager or site supervisor on the progress of electrical installations, highlighting any issues or delays.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure that all electrical work meets their expectations.
