Job Overview
An Electronics Engineer Trainee is responsible for assisting in the design, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic systems and components. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in circuit design, embedded systems, and electrical troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Circuit Design & Development
- Assist in designing and testing electronic circuits and PCB layouts.
- Work with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept models.
2. Testing & Troubleshooting
- Perform circuit simulations and testing using tools like SPICE, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
- Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues in electronic systems.
- Conduct performance tests, calibration, and quality checks.
3. Research & Documentation
- Study technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering manuals.
- Prepare reports and maintain technical documentation.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
4. Collaboration & Learning
- Work under senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in industrial applications.
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and training programs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection and lab safety protocols.
- Assist in preparing certification documentation for electronic products.
