Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Physician located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Emergency Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing emergency medical care, urgent care services, critical care medicine, and managing emergency services on-site.

Qualifications

Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Critical Care Medicine
Strong medical knowledge and skills in emergency services
Ability to make quick and critical decisions in emergency situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Board certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty
Valid medical license in the state of Tamil Nadu, India
Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our medical team. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Emergency Treatment:

Assess, diagnose, and provide immediate treatment to critically ill or injured patients.
Perform emergency medical procedures, including intubation, CPR, wound suturing, and fracture management.
Stabilize patients and determine whether they require hospital admission or outpatient care.
Treat a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, stroke, heart attacks, respiratory distress, and poisoning.

Decision-Making & Rapid Assessments:

Conduct quick and accurate diagnoses based on symptoms, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
Prioritize patients based on triage protocols and severity of condition.
Make life-saving decisions under high-pressure situations.

Collaboration & Coordination:

Work closely with nurses, paramedics, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure timely treatment.
Coordinate with ICU, surgical teams, and other hospital departments for patient transfers.
Communicate with patients’ families regarding conditions, treatments, and next steps.

Medical Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Adhere to hospital protocols, legal regulations, and ethical medical practices.
Stay updated with latest advancements in emergency medicine.
