Energy Science And Engineering Jobs Opening in Bharat Alt Fuel Private Limited BAFL at Mumbai
Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Make 2D drawings for manufacturing
2. Design dynamic joints
3. Coordinate within the team and manufacturing vendors for technical aspects.
4. Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products.
5. Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs
6. Generate working prototypes for alpha & beta testing and customer demonstration
7. Perform engineering calculations to support design work
8. Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
9. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors
10. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
11. Understand project requirements and complete all duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
1. Hands-on experience on advanced Design tools (Catia, Solid Works, ProE)
2. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, electrical systems, and vehicle dynamics
3. Basic knowledge of electric vehicle components, such as batteries, motors, controllers, and charging systems
4. Knowledge of Mechanical Dimensions and Tolerances
5. Knowledge of prototyping and manufacturing processes
6. Knowledge of 2D drawings and DFMA
7. Knowledge of mechanical tools

Other requirements
1. Pursuing B Tech (CGPA 7.5 above) / M Tech (CGPA 8.0 above) in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
2. Is a fast learner with good analytical & problem-solving skills.
3. Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Catia, Solid Works, and ProE.
