Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Tutor to help students (Grades 1-12) improve their reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills. The ideal candidate should be able to create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide personalized instruction to enhance their academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English language concepts, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
Assist students in improving essay writing, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Provide guidance on literature analysis, poetry, and creative writing.
Prepare students for school exams, standardized tests (SAT, ACT, IELTS, etc.), and assignments.
Offer constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Encourage students to develop a love for reading and writing.
Adapt teaching strategies based on student learning styles.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (preferred).
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of grammar, composition, and literature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and enthusiasm for working with students of different ages.
Ability to use online teaching tools (for virtual tutoring).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with curriculum planning and academic coaching.
Familiarity with different educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Boards, etc.).
Ability to teach advanced writing techniques and critical analysis.
