Job Description

Job Summary:

The ERP Executive - Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role involves ensuring that all critical business data is managed in a timely and accurate manner, supporting the smooth operation of various business functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to data management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and update data into the ERP system, including customer, supplier, and product information.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data entered by regularly verifying, auditing, and reconciling discrepancies.
Assist in the maintenance of the master data within the ERP system, ensuring it is up-to-date.
Support the ERP team by providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on system data.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, inventory, production) to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
Perform routine data backups and ensure the ERP system is running smoothly by reporting any system issues.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information as per company policies.
Train new team members on ERP system usage as necessary.
Troubleshoot minor system issues and escalate more complex problems to the IT/ERP support team.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar role, preferably within an ERP environment.
Familiarity with popular ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally).
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
