Job Description

Exam lab invigilator. Candidate should be born before 1997 and nearby location or Thodamuthur for govt exam lab invigilator and monitoring purpose. The job timing is morning 6 am to evening 6 pm and depends on exam timing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Exam Preparation:

Arrive at the examination center before the scheduled time to set up the lab or exam room.
Ensure that computers, systems, and all required equipment are functioning properly for online exams.
Check that all necessary materials (question papers, answer sheets, pens, ID lists, attendance sheets, etc.) are ready.
Verify the seating arrangement, system allocation, and cleanliness of the exam venue.
Brief candidates on exam instructions and rules before the test begins.

2. Candidate Verification:

Verify identity of candidates through ID proof, admit card, or biometric if applicable.
Record attendance and assign candidates to their designated systems or seats.
Maintain accurate documentation of student entry and exit from the exam hall/lab.

3. During the Examination:

Supervise the examination room/lab to ensure strict compliance with rules and no malpractice.
Observe candidates discreetly and move around the room regularly without causing disturbance.
Handle queries related to technical issues (in case of online exams) or exam instructions (without helping with answers).
Ensure no communication or use of unauthorized devices takes place.
Report any irregular behavior, cheating, or system issues to the supervisor or exam coordinator immediately.

4. Post-Exam Duties:

Collect answer sheets or ensure candidates have successfully submitted online responses.
Ensure that all materials are accounted for and no content is taken out of the exam hall.
Assist with packaging of answer sheets, logging off systems, or resetting lab settings.
Submit reports and feedback to the supervisor or center head regarding the session.

5. General Conduct:

Maintain a calm, professional, and helpful demeanor throughout the exam session.
Adhere strictly to exam regulations and confidentiality policies.
Ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment for all candidates.
