Job Description

1. Person should be interested for designing Lingerie Wear

2. Should be well versed with the fashion updates in lingerie.

3. Should be outspoken & creative

4. Should be well versed with designing software's.

5. Should be interested to work independently.

6. Should be able to submit the work within the given timelines.

7. Daily work reporting.
Interested person can share the CV.

Research seasonal fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and materials specific to lingerie and intimate wear.
Create mood boards, sketches, and inspiration sheets for each collection, aligning with brand aesthetics.
Design innovative lingerie pieces that cater to different sizes, shapes, and comfort needs while maintaining style and sensuality.
Conceptualize new lingerie lines, capsule collections, or themed designs in line with brand strategy and market feedback.

Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications (tech packs) for prototypes and production.
Select appropriate fabrics, trims, lace, elastics, and fastenings for each design, considering comfort, durability, and aesthetic.
Work closely with pattern makers to develop accurate patterns for lingerie designs.
Oversee the sample development process, providing feedback and corrections on fit, silhouette, materials, and construction techniques.

Attend and lead fit sessions on models or mannequins to evaluate proportions, support, and comfort.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure perfect fit and functionality across multiple body types.
Ensure that garments meet brand standards for quality and customer expectations.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure feasibility and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Work with the merchandising and marketing teams to ensure the collection aligns with customer preferences and pricing strategy.
Coordinate with suppliers for fabric sourcing, sampling materials, and embellishments, keeping budget and timelines in mind.

Stay up-to-date with trends in lingerie, intimate fashion, and body-positive movements.
Research competitor brands, market data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for design innovation.
Experiment with new cuts, silhouettes, fabric technologies (e.g., seamless, moisture-wicking, wireless support), and eco-friendly materials.

Maintain organized records of all designs, sample revisions, material selections, and costs.
Present final designs and concepts to senior management, clients, or buyers using sketches, CADs, and sample boards.
Provide clear instructions and design guidelines to production teams and overseas vendors when applicable.
