Job Description

Responsibilities:

Visiting textile dyeing & printing units. Required smart phone & vehicle to visit.

Customer interaction:

Taking orders from clients, understanding their specific color needs, designs, and fabric requirements.

Providing technical advice on dye options, printing techniques, and fabric suitability.

Managing customer expectations regarding delivery timelines and price points.

Addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues related to quality or delivery.

Production planning and coordination:

Communicating customer orders to the production team, ensuring accurate color matching and design implementation.

Monitoring production schedules and ensuring timely completion of orders.

Coordinating with different departments like dyeing, printing, finishing, and quality control to maintain smooth production flow.

Identifying potential production bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

Quality control:

Regularly inspecting dye batches and printed fabrics to ensure color accuracy and quality standards.

Monitoring the dyeing and printing process to identify any deviations from specifications.

Collaborating with the quality control team to address any quality issues.

Technical knowledge:

Understanding different dyeing and printing techniques, including digital printing, rotary printing, and hand printing.

Knowledge of various dyes and chemicals used in the textile industry.

Familiarity with fabric types and their suitability for different dyeing and printing processes.

Reporting and documentation:

Maintaining detailed records of customer orders, production details, and quality control reports.

Providing regular updates on order status to clients.

Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

Strong technical knowledge of textile dyeing and printing processes.

Attention to detail to ensure color accuracy and quality standards.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Problem-solving skills to address production challenges and customer concerns.
