Position Overview:
A Field HR Recruiter is responsible for recruiting delivery executives (delivery boys) for Zepto by conducting field recruitment, cold calling, and lead generation. This role requires strong networking, communication, and persuasion skills to attract, interview, and onboard candidates effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Recruitment & Lead Generation:
- Visit local markets, transport hubs, job fairs, and other relevant locations to recruit delivery personnel.
- Approach potential candidates, explain job roles, and persuade them to join Zepto.
- Distribute recruitment flyers, posters, and job advertisements in strategic locations.
2. Cold Calling & Database Management:
- Make outbound calls to potential candidates from databases, references, and job portals.
- Follow up with interested candidates and schedule interviews.
- Maintain and update a database of prospective delivery partners.
3. Candidate Screening & Selection:
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ suitability for the role.
- Explain job responsibilities, salary structure, and work schedules.
- Ensure candidates meet company requirements, including document verification.
4. Onboarding & Documentation:
- Assist new hires in completing joining formalities and submitting necessary documents.
- Coordinate with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding and training.
- Guide new delivery executives on job expectations and app usage.
5. Relationship Building & Retention Strategies:
- Build rapport with existing delivery partners and gather referrals.
- Address recruitment challenges and provide feedback to management.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve retention and reduce attrition.
