Field Sales Executive
Job Description
Position Summary:
A Field Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling products or services in the field to potential and existing customers. This role requires traveling to meet with clients, presenting products, closing sales, and building long-term relationships with customers. The Field Sales Executive will work closely with the sales team to achieve company sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and gather market intelligence to help shape future sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation and Client Acquisition:

Identify and target potential customers through research, referrals, cold calls, networking, and other sales strategies.

Actively pursue new business opportunities and build a solid pipeline of leads.

Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, present products or services, and close sales.

Product Presentations and Demonstrations:

Present and demonstrate the company’s products or services to clients, explaining features, benefits, and advantages.

Provide customized solutions based on customer requirements and preferences.

Address customer queries, resolve concerns, and provide technical explanations about the products or services.

Relationship Building and Customer Retention:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

Regularly check in with customers to provide updates, gather feedback, and offer support.

Build long-term business relationships through excellent service and personalized communication.

Sales Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall sales team goals.

Track sales progress, record achievements, and report on sales performance regularly.

Develop strategies to overcome sales challenges and improve performance in target areas.

Market Intelligence and Feedback:

Gather information on customer preferences, market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to stay ahead of the competition.

Report back to the sales and marketing teams about market conditions, customer feedback, and potential opportunities for new products or services.

Suggest improvements to products, sales techniques, or promotional strategies based on client interactions and market feedback.

Order Processing and Follow-up:

Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all paperwork is completed in accordance with company procedures.

Follow up on all sales leads and provide post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction with their purchases.

Ensure all documentation related to sales, contracts, and client interactions is accurately maintained.

Sales Reporting and Administration:

Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and customer feedback.

Keep an updated record of customer contact information, sales activities, and status in the CRM system.

Provide timely updates to management regarding the progress of deals and potential obstacles.
