Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Executive to promote and sell UPS systems. Responsibilities include identifying leads, meeting clients, demonstrating product benefits, and closing sales. Candidates should have knowledge of power backup solutions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fieldwork. Prior experience in B2B sales and a technical background is preferred. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Promote UPS Solutions: Actively promote and sell UPS systems to potential clients, ensuring the appropriate product is selected based on the client’s power requirements.

    • Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers, including businesses, data centers, hospitals, manufacturing units, and retail chains, who require UPS systems for their operations.

    • Lead Generation: Generate sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry-related events, exhibitions, and seminars.

    • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of the UPS systems to prospective clients.

    • Close Deals: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to close sales deals and achieve sales targets.

  2. Customer Needs Assessment:

    • Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their power needs, potential risks of power outages, and business continuity requirements.

    • Customized Solutions: Recommend the best UPS solutions that align with customer needs, considering factors like load capacity, runtime, scalability, and budget.

    • Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to assess the client’s setup, understand the technical requirements, and provide tailored solutions.

  3. Sales Process Management:

    • Sales Quotation and Proposal: Prepare and present detailed sales quotes and proposals, including product specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and terms of service.

    • Follow-Up: Actively follow up with clients to address any queries, resolve concerns, and maintain communication until the deal is closed.

    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, leads, and deals in CRM systems.

  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.

    • Customer Education: Educate customers about the importance of UPS systems and the long-term cost savings associated with having reliable power backup.

    • After-Sales Support: Offer after-sales support, such as assistance with installations, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and addressing any customer concerns post-sale.

  5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

    • Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs related to UPS systems.

    • Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor offerings and pricing strategies to adjust sales tactics accordingly.

  6. Product Knowledge:

    • Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of UPS systems, including types (standby, line-interactive, online), key features, and benefits.

    • Product Training: Stay informed about product updates, new releases, and innovations in the UPS industry.

    • Troubleshooting: Be able to provide initial troubleshooting advice to customers regarding their UPS products.

  7. Target Achievement:

    • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.

    • Revenue Growth: Contribute to revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities (e.g., offering extended warranties, additional batteries, or software integration).

  8. Reporting and Administration:

    • Sales Reporting: Regularly report sales activities, forecasts, and market conditions to management.

    • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales performance.

    • Admin Tasks: Handle administrative tasks like submitting invoices, order processing, and managing CRM data.
