Field Sales Executive
Job Description
We are looking for a field sales executive to attract new clients. The ideal person will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve targets. The field sales executive will play a key role in generating leads and managing sales of products .
- Sell the products/services using various customer sales methods (Foot on street, cold calling, presentations etc.)
- Ability to show technical demos and handle clients queries and objection with ease.
- Should be familiar with SaaS or Cloud computing products and services.
- Maintain and expand client database.
- Enter the activity/communication details in the Customer Relationship Management(CRM) or report to the team lead.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development

Identify new potential customers and generate leads through field visits, networking, references, and cold calling.

Visit prospective customers to present and promote company products or services.

Demonstrate product features, pricing, and benefits tailored to the customer’s needs.

Close sales deals and meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
2. Customer Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

Handle inquiries, provide information, and resolve any issues or objections raised by clients.

Ensure excellent after-sales service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
3. Territory Management
-
Plan and manage daily routes, prioritize customer visits, and optimize travel time within the assigned territory.

Maintain a strong presence in the market by visiting shops, businesses, or customer sites regularly.

Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
4. Reporting and Documentation
-
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales visits, deals closed, and follow-up actions.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Sales Manager.

Use mobile CRM or sales tracking tools (if provided) to update sales data in real-time.
5. Collaboration

Coordinate with internal departments such as logistics, marketing, and customer service to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Participate in product training, promotional events, exhibitions, and team meetings.
