Job Summary

A Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing technical equipment or systems at client locations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or IT systems, depending on the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Maintenance:

Install, configure, and test technical equipment or systems at client sites.
Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
Provide on-site training to customers on equipment usage and best practices.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Diagnose technical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Work with clients to resolve system malfunctions and minimize downtime.
Document all service activities, issues, and resolutions for future reference.

3. Customer Support & Communication:

Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding service-related inquiries.
Provide technical support via phone, email, or in person as required.
Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring high service standards.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company service policies.
Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and customer feedback records.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology.

5. Inventory & Spare Parts Management:

Maintain stock of spare parts and ensure timely replenishment.
Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary equipment or components.
Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
