Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup:

Install new equipment, machinery, or systems at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and configuration.

Perform system testing after installation to ensure everything operates correctly.

Provide customers with instructions on how to operate and maintain the equipment.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose issues with equipment or systems through inspection, testing, and using diagnostic tools.

Perform repairs on defective or malfunctioning equipment, replacing parts as necessary.

Communicate clearly with customers about the nature of the problem, the repair process, and timelines for resolution.
3. Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance checks and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Clean, lubricate, and calibrate machinery as part of scheduled maintenance programs.

Recommend improvements to enhance performance or extend the lifespan of equipment.
4. Customer Service and Communication:

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, ensuring their concerns are addressed professionally.

Keep clients informed about the status of their service requests, repairs, or installations.

Answer any technical questions from customers and offer guidance on best practices for equipment use and maintenance.
5. Documentation and Reporting:

Keep accurate records of services performed, parts replaced, and any other work carried out during field visits.

Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback forms to ensure proper documentation.

Submit detailed reports to supervisors or managers for tracking job progress and identifying recurring issues.
6. Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety protocols while performing installations, repairs, or maintenance to protect both yourself and the customer.

Ensure all work is compliant with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies.

Properly handle hazardous materials and waste, when applicable, to maintain safety and environmental standards.
7. Inventory and Parts Management:

Manage and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs or installations.

Order and replenish spare parts and materials required for job completion, following company guidelines.

Organize and maintain service vehicles with all necessary tools, equipment, and parts.
8. Training and Development:

Continuously improve technical knowledge by participating in training programs and staying updated on new technology, products, and industry trends.

Learn about new equipment and systems to broaden expertise and improve service quality.
