The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Hyderabad is started in 2008, with a Centralized Kitchen at Patancheru, serving mid-day meals for 54849 Children in 454 Government Schools of Medak district in Telangana. And also every day, it is feeding around 20,000 Anganwadi women in Hyderabad.
Currently the Foundation reaches to the underprivileged children in Bangalore, Hubli-Dharwad, Bellary, Mangalore and Mysore in Karnataka, Jaipur, Nathdwara and Baran in Rajasthan, Vrindavan and Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh, Puri and Nayagarh in Orissa, Gandhinagar and Ahemedabad in Gujarat; Hyderabad in Telangana, Visakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh; and Bhilai-Raipur region in Chattisgarh.
