Reports To: General Manager/Director of Operations

Overview:
The Food and Beverage Manager / Asst. Food and Beverage Manager at Casino Carnival is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, budgeting, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Food and Beverage Manager / Asst. Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with the executive team to develop strategies that align with the casino's goals, enhancing the guest experience and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, and special events within the casino.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all F&B operations.
- Coordinate with other departments, including marketing, entertainment, and gaming, to ensure seamless operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage the F&B team, including chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staffing issues promptly.
- Menu Development & Quality Control:
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update menus, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection for guests.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure consistency.
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Guest Experience:
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement special promotions, events, and themed nights to attract and retain guests.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a casino or high-volume environment.
- Proven track record of successful team management and financial performance.
