Job Description

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
Prepare and cook mezza according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and mezza preparation checklist.
Monitor mezza quality while preparing.
Set-up and break down work stations.
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure food presentation and taste meet quality standards.
Experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, assigning tasks efficiently.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations.
Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Balance taste, nutrition, and cost in menu creation.
Introduce new culinary trends and techniques.
Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
Reduce food waste and manage kitchen expenses effectively.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Ensure food safety standards and regulations are met.
Monitor food storage and preparation processes to prevent contamination.
Conduct kitchen inspections and staff training on hygiene practices.
Interact with customers to understand their preferences and special requests.
Adjust recipes and cooking techniques based on feedback.
