Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Accountant to join our finance team at Eltron Energy Private Limited. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to kickstart their career in accounting within the solar energy industry. The Fresher Accountant will handle payments, manage Zoho Books, track inventory, and support other accounting responsibilities to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayment Processing: Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Zoho Books Management: Maintain and update financial records in Zoho Books, including journal entries, invoices, and expense tracking.
Inventory Tracking: Monitor and record inventory levels for solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other materials, ensuring accurate stock valuation and reporting.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice generation, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation.
Financial Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions, including receipts, bills, and purchase orders.
Tax Compliance Support: Assist in preparing data for GST filings and other tax-related requirements, including solar-specific incentives and credits.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.
Reporting: Support the preparation of basic financial reports, such as expense summaries and inventory cost reports, for management review.
Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement and project teams to verify inventory deliveries and project-related expenses.
Process Adherence: Follow internal controls and accounting best practices to maintain transparency and accuracy in financial operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 0-1 year of experience (internships or academic projects in accounting are a plus). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting software is a plus (training will be provided).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data entry and analysis.
Knowledge: Awareness of GST and tax regulations in India. Knowledge of solar energy incentives (e.g., subsidies or tax credits) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized records.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors.
Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
