Guest Faculties recruitment in Tezpur University
Departments : Civil Engineering, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Qualification : First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology with Good academic record (as stated at NOTE 2). 2. Notwithstanding the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: (i) Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; (ii) Papers published in refereed journals and / or presented at Conferences.
Departments : Environmental Science, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Physics, English and Foreign Languages, Mass Comm. and Journalism, Sociology
Qualification : (i) Good academic record (as stated at NOTE 2) with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned / relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET / SET. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges / Institutions
Department : Business Administration
Qualification : First Class Master’s Degree in Tourism Management / Business Administration / Business Management / relevant management discipline from an institution of repute recognized by UGC / AIU with Good academic record (as stated at NOTE 2). 2. Notwithstanding the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: (i) Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; (ii) Papers published in refereed journals and / or presented at Conferences

Qualification : (i) Good academic record (as stated at NOTE 2) with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned / relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET / SET. Honorarium : Appointed Guest Faculties will be paid Rs. 1,000/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/-
