Job Description
Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Helper / Office Boy to assist with day-to-day tasks at our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting clinic operations by maintaining cleanliness, helping staff with basic duties, and ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for patients and visitors.
This is a support role, ideal for someone who is punctual, honest, and ready to assist in a healthcare setting with basic non-medical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning & Maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic including reception, waiting area, treatment rooms, washrooms, and staff areas.

Regularly disinfect surfaces, doors, handles, chairs, and equipment areas.

Take out the trash and ensure waste is disposed of properly, following hygiene standards.

Ensure the clinic is clean and ready before opening hours.
2. Hospitality Duties

Serve water, tea, or coffee to patients, doctors, and visitors as needed.

Assist patients with directions within the clinic and make them feel comfortable.

Maintain stock of refreshments and notify management when supplies are low.
3. Administrative & Office Assistance
-
Support front desk staff by organizing files, photocopying, or running errands within the clinic.

Receive and deliver documents or supplies from nearby vendors or pharmacies if needed.

Ensure that the reception area is neat and presentable at all times.
4. General Assistance
-
Help with moving dental supplies, tools, or equipment under supervision.

Assist the dental assistants or nurses when needed (non-clinical support only).

Notify the clinic manager of any issues regarding cleaning materials, plumbing, or general maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience in a helper or office boy role preferred (especially in a clinic or hospital setting).

Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness, especially in a medical environment.

Polite, respectful, and patient-friendly attitude.

Trustworthy and punctual with a good work ethic.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Physically fit and able to handle routine cleaning and lifting tasks.
