Job Description

We are looking to hire a skilled technical support engineer to assist our clients with all IT and technical-related issues. You will be required to respond to report tickets and assist clients via remote access or on-site. This may include installing hardware and software systems, diagnosing networking issues, installing upgrades, and resolving IT issues.

  • Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA
  • Experience: 1– 2 years
  • Salary: 20000 to 25000

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries regarding product or service issues via phone, email, chat, or remote support tools.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including software malfunctions, hardware failures, network connectivity issues, and product configurations.

  • Provide timely solutions for issues such as system crashes, application errors, installation problems, and performance issues.

  • Identify recurring technical issues and escalate them to senior support staff or product teams if needed.

  • Provide clear, accurate, and user-friendly guidance and troubleshooting steps to end-users.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and that they are satisfied with the provided solutions.

Ticket Management

  • Manage, prioritize, and document support tickets using a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira).

  • Ensure tickets are resolved within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Track customer issues and their resolution, ensuring the full technical details are logged in the system.

  • Monitor open tickets and proactively reach out to customers regarding unresolved issues or delays in resolution.

Product Knowledge & Training

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the products, services, and technologies the company provides.

  • Provide technical documentation and FAQs to customers and internal teams to help improve self-service.

  • Assist with creating knowledge base articles, user manuals, and tutorials for both internal and external users.

  • Regularly update knowledge about new products, software updates, or features to support customers effectively.

System Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Perform routine monitoring of systems, networks, and applications to identify and resolve technical problems before they impact customers.

  • Assist with software installations, configurations, and updates for customers.

  • Support customers in troubleshooting connectivity, installation, and setup issues.

  • Work closely with internal teams (development, QA, product management) to identify product bugs or recurring technical issues and report findings.

Escalation and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with senior engineers, developers, and other departments to diagnose complex technical issues.

  • Provide escalation support for unresolved customer problems that require specialized technical knowledge.

  • Contribute to product improvement and innovation by providing feedback on recurring technical issues or customer concerns.

Customer Satisfaction & Feedback

  • Ensure excellent customer service by providing friendly, efficient, and effective support.

  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and follow up on any feedback received.

  • Recommend solutions or improvements to prevent future issues and enhance the customer experience.
