Job Description
Housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in residential, commercial, or hospitality environments. Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Maintaining Rooms:

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring they meet established cleanliness standards.

Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all furniture is arranged neatly.

Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, counters, and windows.

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.

Replenish supplies like soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and towels.

Empty trash bins and replace liners in guest rooms and public areas.

Cleaning Public and Common Areas:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in hallways, lobbies, lounges, and other common areas.

Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, corridors, elevators, and other high-traffic areas.

Ensure that all public restrooms are stocked and cleaned regularly.

Clean glass windows, doors, and other transparent surfaces.

Laundry and Linen Services:

Collect and wash linens, towels, and other laundry items.

Iron or press linens and uniforms as needed.

Fold, sort, and organize clean laundry and ensure it is stored in designated areas.

Ensure that linens and towels are in good condition and replace damaged or worn-out items.

Inventory Management:

Track and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and toiletries.

Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and in sufficient quantities.

Notify the supervisor when stock levels are low or when supplies need replenishing.

Sanitation and Safety:

Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are followed during all cleaning tasks.

Use cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
