Position: HR Admin and Executive
Job Location: Barasat
Reports To: HR Manager / Senior HR Executive


Position Overview:

Medishopi Private Limited is looking for an HR Admin and Executive to support the Human Resources department in managing and executing HR activities, administrative functions, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion. This role involves managing employee documentation, assisting in recruitment processes, handling benefits administration, and providing support to various HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. HR Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records, both in physical and digital formats.
  • Prepare and manage HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and other official correspondence.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing necessary paperwork and conducting exit interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
2. Recruitment Support
  • Assist in job postings and advertisements on various platforms.
  • Screen CVs and schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and ensure timely communication with candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and assist with the preparation of job offers.
3. Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Coordinate employee welfare activities, team-building events, and internal communication.
  • Assist in employee grievance handling, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage and track employee attendance, leave, and time-off requests.
  • Support the HR team in performance management and training initiatives.
4. Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Maintain records for employee benefits, insurance, and other perks.
  • Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and company policies.
5. General Administrative Tasks
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
  • Organize HR files, documentation, and reports for easy retrieval.
  • Handle communication with employees, suppliers, and external partners.
6. Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare reports related to employee performance, turnover, and HR metrics as required.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, or any HR-related reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in HR administration or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or retail industry.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge or experience in healthcare-related industries is an advantage.
  • Certification in HR-related courses (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
