Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and other concerns.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Compliance and Legal Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements applicable in India.
- Manage and oversee compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and legal standards.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support career development initiatives and performance management processes.
Administrative Functions:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
- Handle office administrative tasks, including managing office supplies and coordinating with vendors.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and analyze HR reports, including turnover, recruitment metrics, and employee satisfaction surveys.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in India.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
