Job Description

  • Roles and Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations Management:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
    • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and other concerns.
    • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Legal Requirements:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements applicable in India.
    • Manage and oversee compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and legal standards.
  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Support career development initiatives and performance management processes.
  • Administrative Functions:

    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.
    • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
    • Handle office administrative tasks, including managing office supplies and coordinating with vendors.
  • Reporting and Analytics:

    • Prepare and analyze HR reports, including turnover, recruitment metrics, and employee satisfaction surveys.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
    • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in India.
    • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
