Location: Ahmedabad
Duration: 3-6 months
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: [HR Director]
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. The HR Intern will assist with various HR-related activities, provide support for recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and other day-to-day HR functions. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources and develop a foundational understanding of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and help in scheduling interviews.
- Participate in interview preparation and candidate communication.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing materials, setting up orientations, and ensuring documentation is completed.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Employee Engagement & Well-being:
- Help organize company events, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in creating employee surveys and gathering feedback.
- Performance Management:
- Assist with the tracking of performance reviews and supporting managers during performance evaluation periods.
- General HR Support:
- Provide assistance in other HR projects and initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other general HR matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various departments.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems) is an advantage.
