Position Overview:

The HR Specialist Intern will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. This role offers a comprehensive experience in human resources and is ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in HR leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, and screening resumes.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and facilitating initial training.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Provide support in managing employee relations and addressing workplace issues.
    • Assist in maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
    • Help organize and facilitate employee engagement activities and initiatives.
  • Performance Management:

    • Support performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and assisting in the preparation of performance improvement plans.
    • Help collect and analyze feedback from employees and managers to support continuous improvement.
  • HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases.
    • Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics for analysis and decision-making.
    • Help with administrative tasks such as updating employee handbooks and maintaining HR documentation.
  • Training & Development:

    • Assist in identifying training needs and supporting the development of training programs.
    • Help coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Support the evaluation of training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants.
  • Compliance & Policy Management:

    • Support compliance with labor laws and company policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Help with audits and ensure adherence to HR best practices.
  • Organizational Development:

    • Assist in initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
    • Support change management efforts and organizational restructuring as needed.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned to support the overall HR function and organizational goals.
  • Eligibility Criteria:

  • Availability for a full-time, in-office internship.
  • Ability to start the internship between April 18, 2024, and May 23, 2024.
  • Commitment to a duration of 3 months.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR software and systems preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
