Position Title: In-Store Camera Demonstrator (ISD)
Location: Chennai

Reports To: Technical Trainer/Team Lead

Position Overview:
As an In-Store Camera Demonstrator (ISD), you will play a key role in showcasing Canon's range of cameras to customers in-store. Whether you're demonstrating the latest mirrorless models, you'll be the expert who brings Canon's products to life. This position is ideal for individuals with a basic or strong understanding of cameras, and who have a passion for educating and engaging with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Demonstration: Actively demonstrate Canon’s cameras, lenses, and accessories to customers. Explain product features, functionalities, and benefits in a clear and engaging manner to help customers understand their purchase options.
Customer Interaction: Engage customers by offering personalized recommendations based on their needs, interests, and level of experience with photography. Provide hands-on assistance and help them make informed decisions.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of Canon’s camera products, as well as other imaging-related technologies and accessories. Stay up-to-date with new releases and key updates in the camera industry.
Sales Support: Assist the store sales team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets by promoting Canon cameras and accessories. Help customers with product selection and facilitate the purchase process.
Customer Education: Educate customers on basic photography techniques, camera settings, and best practices to improve their photography skills. Offer troubleshooting tips and demonstrate camera features for different needs (e.g., travel, portrait, sports).
In-Store Displays: Ensure Canon cameras are well-displayed and maintained in-store, ensuring all products are easy to access and in good condition.
Event Support: Assist with product launches, promotional events, and photography workshops to increase brand exposure and engage potential customers.
Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback to improve the shopping experience and report insights to store management. Stay attuned to customer preferences and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:

Experience: A strong or basic understanding of cameras and photography is preferred. Previous experience with camera products or photography is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively demonstrate and explain camera features to customers of varying expertise.
Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and assist customers in a retail setting.
Passion for Photography: Genuine interest in photography and Canon products, with the ability to inspire and educate others.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using and demonstrating various camera equipment and accessories. Knowledge of digital cameras, lenses, and photo-editing software is a bonus.
Work Ethic: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest Canon products and trends in the camera industry.
