Insurance advisor job responsibilities:

Assessing clients' financial portfolios and analysing risk.

Offering specialised insurance advice to clients.

Liaising with companies to negotiate competitive insurance premiums.

Arranging insurance coverage according to client needs and preferences.

Needs to know the details of the policies and prepare to answer the queries of prospects/existing clients.

Collects data and based on it call and follow-up prospective clients.

Promotes and sells insurance products and services to its customers.

Provides financial advice and customer support to the clients.

Required to have good rapport with his/her existing and prospective customers.

Act as a public-relation professional between the clients and the company he represents.

Collects data and based on it call and follow-up prospective clients.
