- Travel-Ready: This position requires a bit of traveling too. If you're flexible and enjoy a mix of design and travel, this could be the perfect opportunity! Travel allowance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Concept Development:
-
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for interior design projects.

Develop creative, functional design concepts that align with client needs, the space’s requirements, and budget constraints.

Prepare mood boards, color palettes, design sketches, and layouts that showcase design ideas and concepts.

Select and source furniture, materials, finishes, and decor items that suit the design concept and the client’s preferences.

Space Planning & Layout Design:
-
Plan the layout of spaces, ensuring proper flow and functionality while considering architectural features, lighting, and accessibility.

Create detailed floor plans using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit to visualize the spatial arrangement and functionality.

Incorporate ergonomic and safety considerations into all designs.

Client Collaboration & Presentation:
-
Present design concepts to clients, using 3D renderings, sketches, and physical samples to convey the vision clearly.

Revise and adjust designs based on client feedback, making sure to address any concerns or modifications requested.

Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that the design process is aligned with their expectations.

Project Management:

Oversee the implementation of interior design projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, and other professionals to ensure the design is executed as planned.

Manage procurement of materials, furniture, and decor, and ensure on-time delivery and installation.

Supervise the construction or renovation work related to interior design, ensuring that all aspects of the project are being carried out as per the design.

Documentation & Specifications:

Prepare technical documents and specifications for contractors and vendors, ensuring that the designs are executed correctly.

Maintain records of design choices, orders, and project milestones for reference and future design decisions.

Assist in creating design proposals, cost estimates, and contracts for clients.

Trend Research & Innovation:

Stay updated on current design trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in the interior design industry.

Integrate innovative and sustainable design practices into projects, promoting eco-friendly choices whenever possible.

Quality Control & Site Visits:

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, check the quality of work, and ensure designs are being followed correctly.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation phase, ensuring designs are realized according to specifications.

Provide feedback and direction to workers and contractors during the project installation and setup.
