Job Description

We are Hiring !!
We are seeking an Interior Designer with fresher /1-2 years of experience for a hybrid/ work-from-home position in Baner, Pune .
* The candidate should possess knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, and rendering skills for residential/commercial interior design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Canva, and MS Excel is also required.

* Key duties include preparing architectural and interior projects layouts, working drawings, 3D rendering, presentation plans, mood boards, etc.

*Effective client communication and convincing skills are necessary.
The candidate must be willing to meet face-to-face for client meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation and Requirement Gathering

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, lifestyle, and project goals.
Conduct site visits to assess space conditions and gather measurements and structural information.
Develop mood boards, style guides, and design proposals based on client input.

2. Concept Development and Design Planning

Create functional and attractive interior layouts using space planning techniques.
Develop 2D drawings, floor plans, and 3D models using design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
Choose appropriate materials, furniture, lighting, color palettes, and décor elements that align with the design vision.

3. Project Execution and Coordination

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure materials, furnishings, and accessories.
Oversee site execution to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and according to specifications.
Address on-site issues promptly, make design adjustments as needed, and manage timelines and budgets.

4. Material and Product Sourcing

Research and recommend materials, textures, fittings, and fixtures that are durable, sustainable, and stylish.
Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and availability of new interior design products and technologies.
Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for client approval.

5. Client Communication and Revisions

Present design ideas, plans, and revisions to clients for feedback and final approval.
Incorporate client suggestions into the design plan without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
Maintain strong communication throughout the project to ensure client satisfaction.

6. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain organized records of design drafts, contracts, invoices, and communications.
Prepare and submit project progress reports, status updates, and final completion reports.
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
