An inventory auditor's job is to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and levels by comparing them to physical inventory. Here are some of the responsibilities of an inventory auditor:

Counting inventory: Inventory auditor count merchandise in stores and warehouses, including items on shelves and in boxes.
Comparing records: Inventory auditor compare physical inventory counts to inventory records in the company database.
