Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy IT Assistant to manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage and maintain the school’s CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, and regular maintenance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, including internet connectivity and LAN/WAN setups.
- Provide IT support for classrooms, events, and administrative activities.
- Install, update, and maintain software and hardware.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data security.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment procurement and maintenance.
- Train staff on basic IT skills and troubleshooting techniques.
- Document IT procedures and maintain an inventory of IT assets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, desktop hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addresses, routers, switches, etc.).
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
