Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development and Delivery
Design, develop, and update course materials and syllabi for IT-related subjects such as programming, databases, networks, cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud computing, data science, or web development. Deliver lectures, labs, tutorials, and workshops that cater to students at different academic levels. -
Teaching and Instruction
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students using various teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on practicals, flipped classrooms, and e-learning platforms. Utilize technology effectively to engage students and enhance the learning experience. -
Assessment and Evaluation
Design and administer examinations, quizzes, assignments, projects, and lab assessments. Provide timely, constructive feedback and ensure fair evaluation in accordance with institutional policies and academic standards. -
Student Mentorship and Guidance
Mentor students in academic and career-related matters. Guide students on projects, internships, research work, and participation in competitions or hackathons. Support student success through personalized academic counseling. -
Research and Scholarly Activities
Engage in research activities related to IT and computer science. Publish findings in reputable journals, attend academic conferences, and contribute to the institution’s research initiatives. Collaborate with peers or industry partners on joint research projects. -
Industry Collaboration
Build relationships with IT companies and professionals to stay updated on industry needs. Help facilitate guest lectures, workshops, internships, and placement support for students. -
Academic Administration
Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, accreditation work, curriculum planning, quality assurance, and other administrative responsibilities assigned by the department or academic head. -
Professional Development
Continuously enhance subject knowledge and pedagogical skills by attending faculty development programs, workshops, seminars, and certification courses. Stay informed about emerging trends in IT and education technologies. -
Institutional Contribution
Support the institution’s initiatives such as admissions, campus events, student outreach, placement drives, and community engagement programs.
