Job Summary
An IT Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for technical positions within an organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, using various recruitment platforms, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and experience in full-cycle IT recruitment.
- Experience: 0 - 4 years of IT recruitment experience in an agency or corporate setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
- Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job portals, and networking.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Tools: Experience with ATS, HR software, and recruitment analytics.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Sourcing & Screening:
- Identify and attract top IT talent through job portals, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals.
- Review resumes and conduct initial screening calls to assess candidates' technical and soft skills.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
2. Recruitment & Interview Process:
- Coordinate and schedule technical interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to evaluate candidates' technical proficiency.
- Provide feedback and ensure a smooth hiring process.
3. Job Posting & Employer Branding:
- Create job descriptions and post openings on various job boards and company websites.
- Promote the company’s culture and values to attract top talent.
- Attend job fairs and networking events to expand hiring reach.
4. Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical job requirements.
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Negotiate salary and benefits with selected candidates.
5. Database & Reporting:
- Maintain an updated database of candidates and track recruitment metrics.
- Generate reports on hiring trends, candidate pipeline, and recruitment success.
- Continuously optimize recruitment strategies based on data analysis.
