- Expertise in UNIX architecture, cloud systems administration and UNIX tools
- Comfortable with git version control
- Sample code available on Github
- Capable of clearly communicating technical concepts and ideas
- Ability to learn and work independently, contribute in a distributed team
- Javascript / JQuery experience
- Expert shell scripting
- Experience designing and implementing NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience with Hadoop
- Experience with Hbase
- Experience with UNIX cloud computing (e.g. AWS)
- Experience with Apache Lucene text search engine
