JRF Environmental Science/ Project Assistant job recruitment in Bose Institute
Project Title : “National Carbonaceous Aerosol Programme (NCAP) working Group III”
1. JRF
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Chemistry / Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology from recognised University / Institution with NET / GATE / JEST qualified. Desirable Qualifications : Good knowledge in the field of atmospheric chemistry/physics, air quality, aerosols etc., computer usage and software packages. Special preference will be given to those who have experience in air pollution and air quality monitoring and analytical instruments. The fellow will mainly be engaged in research activities to be carried out under this project at the Darjeeling campus of Bose Institute
No. of Post : 01
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m., plus 30% HRA.
Age : Below 28 years as on the day on which the application is made.
Duration : Initially for two years as JRF and would be upgraded to SRF based on performance upto the tenure of the project
2. Project Assistant
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. (Chemistry / Atmospheric Science / Environmental Science) / B.Sc. (Chemistry / Environmental Science) / B.Tech/B.E. from a recognised University / Institution with good percentage of marks and with two (02) years of experience in the field related to atmospheric/ environmental science. Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to those who have experience in air pollution and air quality monitoring studies.

Salary : Rs. 21,000/- p.m., plus 30% HRA with the increment of Rs. 2,500/- per year
Age : Below 28 years
Duration : Initially for one year and would be extended for another two years based on the performance.
