Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Hitec City, Hyderabad
Employment Type: Entry-Level, Contractual
Job Brief: We are looking for a Junior Accountant to work within our Finance and Accounts (F&A) Team on contract basis. A detailed job-description and key responsibilities areas for the required role can be found below.
Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs):
Manage the daily operations of the accounting areas including:
- Month and end-year process
- Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Cash receipts
- General ledger, utilities
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Generating Purchase Orders and Invoices for the teams as per requirement
- GST and Taxation
- Analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Meet financial accounting objectives as per KPIs
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Co-ordinate and report to the superiors/Reporting Manager
- Co-ordinating with banks in meeting export/import compliances
Experience and Skillset Required:
- Minimum 0 to 2 years of working experience as an Accounts Professional or Accounting Supervisor
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office Excel, experience with accounting software - Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP etc. and databases is preferred.
- Flexibility in working and time management
- Knowledge of book-keeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Experience in Imports & Exports procedures and documentation
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
Minimum Qualification Required:
- B.Com.
- BBA
