Job Description
Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective fund management.
Cost Accounting:
- Calculate and analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Develop and maintain cost control measures to improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate variances between standard and actual costs, providing detailed analysis to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other departments.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with budgeted amounts.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, including audits and tax-related documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
Inventory & Asset Management:
- Oversee inventory valuation and ensure proper tracking of stock levels.
- Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
- Enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and data integrity.
General Accounting Duties:
- Reconcile bank accounts and ledger accounts regularly.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with employee benefit regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
