Job Description
In this full-time role as a Junior Architect based in Chennai, you will be responsible for supporting various architectural and site engineering tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with architectural design, project management, overseeing construction progress, and collaborating with team members to integrate architectural solutions. This is an on-site role that requires active participation at the project locations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles
- Exposure to Software Development and Integration is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:

Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.

Create 3D models, renderings, and sketches to visualize design concepts.

Revise plans and designs based on feedback from senior architects and clients.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on building materials, design trends, and construction techniques.

Analyze site conditions and collaborate with engineers to ensure that designs meet technical and regulatory standards.

Project Support:

Assist in coordinating and managing project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and construction permits.

Help in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project proposals for clients.

Construction Site Visits:

Attend site visits to monitor the progress of construction, ensuring that work adheres to the design and quality standards.

Assist in resolving any on-site design or construction issues that arise during the building phase.

Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other design professionals to ensure that designs are practical, functional, and cost-effective.

Participate in client meetings and help address design and construction-related inquiries.
