Job Description
Job Title: Junior Architect
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support architectural design, planning, and project execution. The role involves assisting in design development, preparing drawings, collaborating with senior architects, and ensuring project compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, proficiency in architectural software, and a passion for innovative design.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Drafting:
- Assist in developing architectural designs and concepts.
- Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
2. Project Coordination & Documentation:
- Prepare presentations, blueprints, and technical documentation for projects.
- Assist in site planning, zoning analysis, and building code compliance.
- Coordinate with senior architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
3. Site Visits & Supervision:
- Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to designs.
- Assist in resolving construction-related issues and provide technical support on-site.
- Document site observations and prepare progress reports.
4. Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated with architectural trends, sustainable design practices, and new materials.
- Research and propose innovative design solutions for projects.
- Ensure projects align with environmental and energy-efficient standards.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and other architectural software.
- Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
2. Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience in architecture or design-related roles.
- Internship or portfolio demonstrating design and technical skills is a plus.
