Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Engineer - Civil to assist in construction projects, site supervision, and quality control. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project execution, and structural analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or individuals with minimal experience to grow in the construction and infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Assist in managing construction activities on-site.
- Ensure work is completed as per drawings, designs, and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on project progress, delays, and challenges.
2. Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist senior engineers in planning and scheduling construction work.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers for project execution.
- Ensure materials are available on time and maintain stock records.
3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Check materials, concrete mix, and construction methods for quality assurance.
- Report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues on-site.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily progress reports, material usage logs, and project updates.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Maintain project drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
