Job Description

Looking for Horticulture Supervisor BSc in Agriculture Excellent Communication Skill

Advance Excel Preferred

Select, propagate, plant, and maintain a diverse range of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers suitable for the local climate.

Monitor plant health, growth, and development, and provide appropriate care, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.

Analyse soil quality and composition and implement soil improvement strategies to support plant health and growth.

Identify and diagnose plant diseases and pest infestations. Also implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to control pests and diseases using environmentally friendly methods whenever required.

Ensure maintenance and upkeep of garden areas, pathways and indoor or outdoor plants as per standards. Ensure aesthetic standards of flowers and plants in the facility.

Collaborate with our landscape design team to plan and implement aesthetically pleasing and functional landscapes across sites.

Effectively plan & manage budgets and resources for horticultural projects, including the procurement of plants, flowers, equipment, and supplies. Along with checking and keeping records of all garden purchases and report on expenditure.

Supervise and lead the team of horticulturists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.

Assist in theme decorations for events/meetings, ensure placement and requirement of flowers in areas as and when required.

Regularly undertake market surveys to recommend and propose best quality flowers/plants/equipment/trends.

Maintain proper inventory of all flower and garden equipment to ensure accurate record.

Regularly interact with internal/external guests and to ensure arrangements as per guest requirements and needs.

Prepare schedules for garden activities like watering, pruning, de-weeding, cutting, fertilisation, pest control, etc.
