Job Description

Day-to-day role:

Help determine the network and computer system needs of an organization before setting one up

Installation of any network hardware and software

Keeping track of upgrades and repairs

Maintaining all network and computer system security, helping to keep systems running safely and correctly

Collecting important data to help evaluate both network and system performance

Adding users to a designated network and assigning and updating any security permissions that allow them to access certain files and folders

Training new and existing users in the proper use of both hardware and software

Interpreting and solving any problems a user may face when using a network or system
