Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior PCB Designer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for a variety of cutting-edge electronic products. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to convert design specifications into actionable layouts while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
PCB Layout Design:
Assist in creating 2D and 3D PCB layout designs using CAD tools like Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD, OrCAD, or similar software.
Convert electronic circuit schematics into PCB layouts with proper component placement and routing.
Follow design rules related to spacing, trace width, signal integrity, and manufacturing constraints.
Schematic Capture and Editing:
Work with circuit schematics provided by electrical engineers or senior designers.
Ensure components in the schematic match the physical layout and BOM (Bill of Materials).
Assist in creating and updating symbol and footprint libraries.
Design Documentation:
Generate Gerber files, drill files, and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
Help prepare design reports, BOMs, and documentation for prototyping or production.
Maintain version control and proper organization of design files.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and fabrication teams to understand design requirements and constraints.
Attend team meetings to discuss project progress and technical issues.
Communicate any potential issues or design challenges to the senior team.
Testing and Review Support:
Assist in reviewing and checking PCB designs for errors before submission to fabrication.
Support testing of prototype boards, and assist in troubleshooting minor layout-related issues.
Make revisions and corrections as per feedback from senior engineers or testing results.
Compliance and Standards:
Learn and follow industry standards such as IPC-2221 and IPC-7351 for PCB design.
Ensure designs meet safety, EMI/EMC, and reliability requirements.
