● Prepare and present a variety of Indian dishes using traditional and modern techniques.

● Design and plan menus that align with customer preferences and restaurant concepts.

● Supervise and train kitchen staff in cooking techniques and presentation.

● Ensure efficient kitchen operations and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

● Select and source high-quality ingredients for Indian cuisine.

● Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.

● Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

● Collaborate with management to develop seasonal specialties and promotions.

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Assist in preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, mixing sauces, and portioning.
Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and steamers in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented consistently in terms of quality, taste, and appearance.
Collaborate with the chef team to ensure proper execution of daily menus and special orders.
Follow plating and garnishing guidelines to maintain food aesthetics.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts.
Wash utensils, cooking tools, and kitchen equipment as needed or assigned.
Ensure all food storage and preparation areas meet hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, FSSAI, etc.).

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing kitchen supplies, ingredients, and food products.
Monitor stock levels and alert the kitchen supervisor of shortages or expired items.
Properly label and store food products to avoid spoilage and contamination.

Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, kitchen helpers, and servers, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support colleagues during busy hours by multitasking and adjusting to shifting priorities.
Follow instructions from supervisors and be flexible with task assignments as required.

Follow kitchen protocols for handling knives, hot surfaces, and equipment to prevent injuries.
Wear appropriate kitchen attire, including gloves, aprons, and headgear.
Report any kitchen accidents, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
